  1. Hello, and welcome to my 23rd Klondike cardset!

  3. I was sort of stuck for an idea for my next cardset until I was
  4. chatting to a few mates (Hi Digger!), who suggested I do some more
  5. 16 colour cardsets as they were a lot less hassle for people with
  6. only 2MB Chip. Anyway, the result of this waffle is this 16 colour
  7. cardset of more Speccy loading screens (sorry, LOADing SCREEN$ heh).

  9. And just to break with tradition of late, I opted NOT to use DIYREKO,
  10. cos basically the 16 colour cardset it produced SUCKED! (Sorry to the
  11. author, no offence as it's one COOL program otherwise!). So I had to
  12. do it by hand which took a bit longer, but wasn't quite so bad. I also
  13. think it made me the only person in the world to make a cardset without
  14. using DIYREKO (or a hacked version to remove the author's card 01, to make
  15. it look like they did it themselves.. Naming no names!)....

  23. I just got my hands on the slightly average SCI-FI SENSATIONS CD, and
  24. was dismayed (well, pissed off actually!) to see that the Klondike cards
  25. included there (including my Empire STrikes Back, Dr. Who and Return Of
  26. The Jedi, plus others like Manga), did NOT have their READ_ME type texts
  27. from the authors. So I'll say this in the desperate hope that other
  28. companies will listen.... PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!! Include ALL of the
  29. files the cardset came with.. It's not as if it's gonna make much
  30. difference on a CD for God's sake!!

  32. The "authors" of the cardsets have worked HARD to produce these things,
  33. and would like just a LITTLE bit of public recognition for our efforts.
  34. Plus, these text files can contain helpful info, like where the pics
  35. came from and other cardsets by the same authors.... PLAY FAIR!!!

  78. I think I better mention that anyone out there with an AGA machine, an HD
  79. and some extra fast mem should look out for ACS-SYMB.LHA, which in english
  80. is the COOL A((eSS AGA vector demo SYMBOLIA. It is totally AWESOME and
  81. would make a handsome addition to any demo collection. Oh yeah, plus the
  82. fact that most of the vector animations were done by yours truely :)
